Wanna learn Sign Language, dude?

Soooooo...... This is for beginner/new people who want to learn basic conversational ASL (American Sign Language). The lessons will be totally based on where you are in your signing
Watched Switched at Birth but can't afford a class? I got you.
Took ASL 1 like three years ago, but completely stopped signing? I got you.
Have a bookmark with the ASL alphabet and decided to memorise that instead of writing your paper in high school? I got you.
Don't even know what Sign Language is? I got you.
Lessons will be hourly and after the first one will be completely signed. You want to be immersed in the language the best you can. ASL is very similar to English, but is NOT signed English. This is a hard transition for most people. The average English to ASL signer is tempted to sign how they speak. However, ASL has its own language syntax; meaning that it has different grammar rules. This is why it is so important for English and ASL to be as separated as possible.
The first lesson will be interpreted for you. By the end of that lesson you will have the skills to go without interpretation for any subsequent lessons. I do have several lessons already planned out so start a conversation if you want an example lesson!
Lessons will go by the hour and use Skype or Facebook facetime. Unless that is you want to learn in person.
