Drawing on nearly two decades of management experience, I will review your resume with you during a Skype or phone conversation. We'll go over it word by word, and during the process I'll make edits, re-wording and reformatting as we speak.
As a hiring manager, I know what elements of a resume will catch a potential employer's eye and which parts can be left out. I can also spot common (and not-so-common) resume pitfalls that are likely to cause your resume to end up in the shredder.
During our session, we will review:
- The overall layout and design of your resume.
- The sections included, with an eye toward highlighting what's important and minimizing any risky details.
- The wording used in each section.
- Proofreading for spelling and grammar.
- Resume customization to target specific positions or employers.
Training & Qualifications
For more than 15 years, I managed in various industries ranging from retail and call center to mortgage banking with a legal bent. I've been successful in each position I've held, and grew to be known among my colleagues for my unique interviewing and selection process when I had positions to fill.
