Hello, my name is David, and I'm a multi-talented artist with a passion for nurturing young minds through music, mindfulness, and movement. Based in the vibrant heart of New York City, I've dedicated ...over a decade to serving caregivers and children, specializing in creating enchanting spaces for kids between the ages of 3 to 6. Through my company, Mystical Music and Art, I'm on a mission to weave the magic of positive lyrics, soulful melodies, sustainable fashion, and alternative education into the lives of our global family and the local community of New York City. I believe that fostering creativity, empathy, and a sense of wonder in children is a path to a brighter future. My journey into kid yoga and music began in 2007 when I was curious to see how preschoolers would react to a 6'3" tall "giraffe." I stepped in to substitute a yoga class for Tricia Donegan (Yoga studio owner “Fierce Grace”), and the rest is history. Since becoming a certified Kid Yoga instructor through Karma Kids Yoga training, I've had the pleasure of helping countless children stand tall and feel empowered, breathing together and growing like giraffes. When I'm not sharing the joy of yoga or crafting mesmerizing melodies, I love to express myself through ecstatic dance, write Hip Hop lyrics infused with the messages I teach, and explore the city I've called home all my life. It's an adventure I'm on with my spirited eight-year-old son, and together, we uncover new treasures in the enchanting labyrinth of Lower Manhattan.
