I'll do basic troubleshooting on a PC, and if needbe, take a direct look at it and see if I can work out the issue. I've grown up building and repairing computers, and generally have a good chance of figuring out what's wrong or at least suggesting a fix that will get by it anyway.
In general, virtual troubleshooting is only going to be able to take care of basic issues, but obviously I can do that more often and more easily, and isn't restricted by distance.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering Technology
at least 15 years experience building/maintaining my own PC
10 years or so experience troubleshooting PC issues for others
