Ask a nomad/expat anything (Skype)

Hey there, first Simbi service, so let's see how this goes =)

Have you been thinking about moving abroad? Traveling for more than just a vacation? Becoming a digital nomad?

Hi, I'm Chris. In 2008, I left the US to teach English in Korea. I blogged, traveled, met a girl, got married, moved to Thailand, and started a whole bunch of other adventures. I take pictures, write books, create websites, blog, and design games these days... I haven't figured it all out yet (no one ever does!) but I'm always learning and trying new things...

...but that's not what this is about. This Simbi service is about *you*, your story, your journey, and offering you thoughts and ideas on making your journey an awesome one. Whether you're just starting to research everything or you've mapped out where and when you're going, I'm here to answer any questions you may have about the nomadic lifestyle.

Past sessions have included questions like:
• Where should I go?
• What do I do with my stuff?
• How do you travel with a spouse / family?
• Isn't it scary moving around all the time?

I've lived (e.g. had an apartment) on three continents, traveled through five, and will be traveling / living nomadically for the years to come.

You're buying an hour-long Skype session, scheduled to suit our mutual availability, and we can go a little over as necessary. Come prepared with any questions you have, and aim for a quiet time when you won't be distracted by life =)

Training & Qualifications

I've been a nomad since 2008, and have written about both my travel and life as an expat on my blog, oneweirdglobe.com. I've helped a number of budding nomads / expats, and am part of many Facebook groups that focus on the nomad / expat life.

Availability & Preferences

Currently on EST, available weekday afternoons and evenings.
