Are you a busy parent that can't be bothered with hours of deciding what to cook, prepping, and then actually doing it all?
Have you recently switched from a traditional diet to vegetarianism, vegainism, or something else, and are lost in the sea of online tips and recipes?
Let me help you out! I live in a household of three, and between work and class I wish home cooked fast food was a thing. I've found that pre-planning and pre-prepping meals is about as close as you can get! The emphasis is on the planning.
I'll develop 5 recipes for you, you pick how many you want to be for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack (so you're not eating grilled chicken the whole week and then never want to do much as look as a living chicken ever again), tailored to the information you give me on taste preferences, dietary restrictions, and your own grocery budget. Then one weekend, we're gonna get these meals DONE! I'll tell you how to store your meals (most will go in the freezer), and how to reheat them so you've got food on the way to your stomach in 30 minutes after pulling it out of storage.
Training & Qualifications
I am a former vegetarian, vegan, and current plant-based, minimally processed eating machine. Through my years without eating animal products, I've learned that plants are not only inexpensive, but also pretty darn tasty! Starting out was hard, I mean what the heck is flax? And what the heck even more so is a flax "egg"? It took me months to get the hang of it, you don't have to go through that miserable trial and error, I already have! I want to help you see that for yourself by passing on my experiences. Now that I eat meat again, I've learned that I can still get my calorie density without an overload of sugar and excess fats along with it. I've been cooking since I was in third grade, and I really believe that experience is the foundation of teaching.
Availability & Preferences
I'm a university student, so I have class everyday of the week, but early mornings, evenings, and weekends I'll be on my computer and between assignments and study breaks I'll have Simbi open as a tab!
