I'll help you learn Spanish!

The keys to successfully learning a language are constant study (learning grammar, vocab, pronunciation) and the application of what you study into your life (language immersion). I can help you to achieve this.

There are two types of fluent language teachers: native speakers and non-native speakers. Native speakers are generally better at knowing what sounds better in their language; they are also generally better with vocabulary and pronunciation. Non-native speakers are a bit more conscious of the working grammar. This is because native speakers grew up used to the grammar, while the non-native speakers spend copious amounts of time studying it.

As a non-native fluent speaker, I can help you along the path to fluency. You will come to better understand how to use the grammar of Spanish; it's essentially the skeleton of the entire language.

Training & Qualifications

I am currently working on a BA in Spanish Language and Literature at Dixie State University.

I also served as a full-time missionary in Mexico for two years. I wasn't content with just communicating the teaching material. I was more concerned with people paying attention to what I was saying instead of how I was saying it.

Availability & Preferences

Saturday afternoons and Monday mornings.

Trading Preference: I prefer being paid in simbi

I like Simbi's concept because here our skills are our currency. Cutting out the money here is like cutting out the middleman of the transaction; we all serve each other one skill for another.
