Looking to become a first time dog owner? Don't know where to start? Just curious to see what kind of dog you fit with best based on your lifestyle?
I want to help anyone who is looking to find the perfect doggy breed for them! I will ask you some questions based on your overall lifestyle such as house size, activity level, area (urban, suburbs etc), and more to judge what kind of breed would best fit the life you lead.
Hopefully I will also open up your eyes to dog breed options you didn't even know about yet! There are so many dogs out in the world I would love to help everyone find their perfect match.
side note: please, consult your nearest dog adoption place first before looking at private breeders. no kill shelters are usually completely full and kill shelters will unfortunately have to put down dogs who do not find homes. These sites do have puppies or dogs under a year old as well. Please give them a shot.
Training & Qualifications
I have owned dogs my whole life. We got my first dog ( an Australian Shepherd named Cowboy) when i was 5. since then I have owned over 12 dogs, including but not limited to; Bulldogs, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Huskies, Beagle mixes, and more.
Professionally, I worked with dogs in a dog hotel for nearly 2 years where I worked closely in doggy daycare, monitoring their behaviors, cleaning up after them, breaking up fights based on the dogs body language, feeding them, housing them, and cleaning them. Currently I work at a BioPharm company and work closely with the vet staff for the lab animals. I can treat non-life threatening injuries to dogs, and basic injections such as insulin shots.
