Audio Transcriptions (up to 20 min)

I will listen carefully to your audio files, whether personal notes, interview clips, or clearly recorded phone calls, and type up clean, formatted transcripts of whatever I hear. I can do Verbatim (including "um," "uh," "like," etc.) or Simplified (leaving out those mindless utterances) versions. I listen at approximately 0.3 to 0.4 speed while typing, then edit at 1.0 to 1.5 speed to finish the project promptly, but professionally.
Training & Qualifications
I have experience transcribing over 20 student interviews (ranging from 25 to 45 minutes in length) for a Purdue University grad student. I have created my own formatting methods, including italics, bolding, and highlighting. I use sturdy headphones while listening, so as to not miss any quieter speeches or sounds.
Availability & Preferences
I am usually free to work on Fridays and Saturdays, and I typically can be reached between 11am and 2 am, daily.
