I will correct basic spelling and grammar errors on a creative writing piece of up to 5000 words and offer suggestions that may aid structure and flow. I will pay special attention to specific details and make certain that they match up throughout the piece.
I won't just use a processor to find and correct issues on raw material, I will use my experience and my peepers and carefully go over it line by line and share useful insights that will help your target audience connect with your piece.
I always take into consideration the artistic aspect of a creative piece first and edit in a way that doesn't destroy the art for the sake of propriety. I understand that creativity is the foundation of fiction and I strive to find the balance between preserving the artistic integrity and appealing to a broad spectrum of readers.
Training & Qualifications
I have been writing and editing for more than a decade, and while I am not technically professionally trained, over ten years teaches one an awful lot about a subject. Because of my lack of professional training, I am better equipped to edit creative pieces as traditional rules don't always have a place in a work of art.
