About Angela Parker

I am an independently published writer from South Texas. In 2014 I shook the e-dust from more than a decade’s worth of poems, short stories, and novels in order to polish them and send them out into t...he world. I enjoy writing in several different styles and genres (largely depending on shifting mood and weather patterns) and I developed my love for writing under the tutelage of a few very important women in my life, including my mom who enjoyed writing poetry but never shared it with the world. I am an introvert and crowds make me nervous, but I love spending time with family and friends, both new and old. I love plants... to death. I consider the dogs that live with me short furry people and I have a guinea pig that identifies as a sloth. My favorite thing to do for myself is to meditate and I love it most when the traffic is gone and the air is moist and the frogs harmonize with the crickets. Sunset is my favorite time of day. I love the smell of freshly tilled dirt. My guilty pleasures... Peter Pan peanut butter; only creamy never whipped. Dove chocolate Giant Cropsies! They are adorable and addicting. Supernatural books: Vampires, were-creatures, ghosts, witches and wizards and all things lore! And comedy...
