I am going to join the US Marine Corps soon, and I would like advice from a fellow recruit, poolee, or marine. My recruiter is excellent and I am going to PT now, so I know the basics and all, but it would be great to have a conversation partner who I don't necessarily have to be formal with, but who knows the ropes. Even if you just know about the experience through a family member who was a marine, I'd like another perspective.
