Intro Astronomy Tutoring

I will help you with specific problems and general questions related to introductory astronomy courses, or even questions not related to a class (i.e. if you are learning just for fun). While I will not do your homework for you, I will help you through example problems, give hints and suggestions, and explain concepts you are struggling with.
A few possible topics are formation of stars and planets, life cycle of stars, phases of the moon, eclipses, transits, exoplanets, and more.
Training & Qualifications
I minored in astronomy in college. My classes included two introductory classes, one on the universe at large and one on our solar system. Additionally, my work study was working the Observatory Open Nights on Fridays, showing people the telescopes and answering questions.
Availability & Preferences
I'm generally free afternoons, evenings, and weekends. My schedule is flexible.
