About Ainsley R

I have a B.A. in physics with minors in astronomy and Russian, and also did a semester-long study abroad in New Zealand. I have many interests, which include aerospace, crochet, typography and calligr...aphy, robotics and artificial intelligence, firespinning, culture, religion, psychology, and more. I also host bimonthly Death Cafes (group gatherings where you can discuss death and dying in a safe space, www.deathcafe.com). I love learning and am currently seeking work in which my degree can be utilized, though grad school may be in my near future instead (I'm looking at aerospace, master's level). Since I don't have work, money is rather tight, making Simbi and encouraging option for continuing to learn new skills and share those I already possess. For over two years I ran a science writing blog, From Physics to English (https://fromphysicstoenglish.wordpress.com), though I have put it to rest as I work towards grad school. More recently I have opened an Etsy shop, focusing on paracord inspired by LGBTQA pride (https://etsy.com/shop/GalleryAinsley). Both are also linked below. I am interested in using Simbi mostly to help with my many interests and skills, whether it be working on my Russian, discussing one of my many interests, having fun with typography services, or helping people in whatever way I can.
