Beginner Electric Bass Lessons
I will help you get used to the 4-string Bass instrument. We will go over proper playing technique, name of notes on the fretboard, some short basslines, and finally dig a bit into scales. I consider myself an intermediate player with some simple music theory knowledge. If you would like to work on a specific project or advice on better bass playing, I am happy to talk with you and see where our conversation goes.
The book I will use for reference is Ariane Cap's Music Theory for the Bass Player. You do not need to buy the book as I will have some photocopies for our specific lesson, but I highly encourage you to get it if you like the session!
I am also happy to chat about open mics and other free music events you can attend if you are just looking to find places to play music.
In person policy: While I prefer my services be provided online. I am open to discuss the logistics of in-person services.
Training & Qualifications
I have released a Demos Album which you can listen to hear. The genre is Indie Rock with shoegaze (beautiful wall of noise) elements. https://atbnr.bandcamp.com/releases
I mostly played Bass and did some backup vocals. I am not very experienced in sound mixing so I cannot offer too much on that end.
