I am offering to mediate conflicts between two or more people and work towards a fair solution, be it issues with neighbors, relationships (spouses, parent/child, in-laws, friends, etc.), parenting, or someone you know that is giving you trouble in some way.

I will discuss the problem one-on-one with each person involved first to understand where each is coming from, seek to help each person understand where the other is coming from, and offer advice on how to approach the situation. Once those involved are ready, I will seek to bring them together in order to discuss everything, being involved only as much as is needed to keep the conversation productive.

In some circumstances, I have had to assist one person only by helping them write letters or emails to another person. I will discuss what the problems are and offer advice or write an example email/letter, then assist with follow-up letters/emails once the person responds.

My goal is to work towards a positive solution, where all people involved feel that they are heard and understood. I do not take sides, but I will be honest about how each person's behavior is affecting the situation and offer a better approach whenever possible.
