I will teach you how to turn your favorite fruits into the jam/jelly of your choice! We can meet in an agreed upon kitchen and whip up a sweet treat! Some are ready the moment we finish but depending on what we make some may take up to 2 weeks to fully be perfect. They only get better with time!! I will provide the supplies for 1 recipe and you will be allowed to keep at least 1 sample of your creation. The recipe may be a 1/2 recipe to allow a minimal use of jars.
We will discuss the proper tools and steps for this method of canning. I will leave you with the confidence and the knowledge to repeat the recipe and try new ones on your own. This is a skill that can help save money and makes a great gift during the holidays!
If you are not interested in learning this skill we can always just barter for already prepared jams and jellies.
Training & Qualifications
I do NOT have a licensed kitchen for cooking so I am not able to sell my prepared food. I take every precaution to avoid any type of food illnesses and maintain a clean cooking environment for any canning process. I take pride in my foods staying safe to eat after long periods of time.
