I'm a 28 year old guy who likes to write and record music and live a simple happy lifestyle.
I love music, film and television, hanging out with my close circle of friends and lots of other stuff too. In terms of services to offer, I mean, I'm not very handy but I really like to sketch and do abstract art, I can write and record music, and make beats. I write songs about love and loss and things that interest me like space, aliens, the human experience etc. Other than that we could just talk and be cool, I'm pretty chill and easy to talk to.
I love cooking but am not the best at it.
I don't really know what to write. I'm a great listener, great friend and am known to sometimes stupidly put myself in jeopardy to help others.
I plan on buying a used cargo van and converting it into a tiny house. Ultimate goal is to travel across Canada and the US for two years, spending more time doing things I love and focusing less and less on making money. I don't want to plan for retirement because nobody can tell me for sure if I'll live to see 35. I've spent a lot of time doing research and designing, and honestly, cannot wait to get the van and get started on the build. As someone with no previous experience, I'll be building cabinetry and shelving out of polystyrene foam insulation reinforced with fibreglass mesh/screen fabric, and oh man, I'm so so so excited to paint and lay on the artwork for the final touches. My trip will consist, hopefully, the plan is, of heading from eastern Canada back to my hometown in BC and then through the states. No shower + no running water + Limited wifi/internet usage = being as close to nature as I've ever been. I want to spend a lot of my fishing and creating music, having campfires and just...finding happiness.
