Book-Writing Consulting
100
I'm really good at:
-figuring out what kind of writer you are and what your challenges are
-getting clear on the full picture of your book idea
-breaking that idea down into tiny, manageable steps and milestones
-creating a custom writing plan + useful tips that'll lead you to a publish-ready manuscript in 12 weeks
This way, the organization is clear and strong, as well as the writing voice.
Ready?
The process is fairly simple (and if I can make it even more simple, I'm totally open to learning how):
1. Complete a three-minute consultation form online to give me an idea of your vision.
2. Schedule your 30-minute phone call.
3. Chat with me about what you're wanting to write and what's holding you back.
4. I'll email you your custom writing plan, useful tips to help you along the way, a link to the call's playback, and a spreadsheet to log your progress.
Training & Qualifications
Trelani self-published her debut novel while a senior at Savannah State University. After graduating, she returned to her alma mater to facilitate grammar and creative writing workshops for faculty, staff, and students. Digging the opportunities that writing provided, she also joined Deep as a writing fellow, where she grew even more passionate about writing and teaching.
Originally on track to go to law school, she decided to pursue a Master’s in Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design and become a full-time storyteller and creative writing coach instead. Partnering with the City of Savannah, The Deep Center, Loop it Up Savannah, Starlandia, Third Eye Naga, and the Telfair Museums, she’s led reflective art and writing workshops for pre-teens and grown folk.
Every spring, she hosts a writing retreat for women in need of solo time, sisterhood, and support. To date, she’s published five titles. Her work has also appeared in The Examiner, Blavity, For Harriet, The Womb Sanctuary, Radical Selfie, and a variety of women-centered publications.
A product of New Orleans and Savannah, Trelani enjoys mothering, brunching, daydreaming, gallery hopping, studying the African diaspora, and working on a series about generational curses beginning and ending within a Louisiana family.
