Reading is fun. But it's funner when someone else does it. You provide the digital file or if you can find it in my Library, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library in San Jose, I will read it to you. If you have trouble reading, because of a disability, I certainly understand. if your child needs someone to read to them and you can't, call on me. I answer questions and will even discuss the book with you if you want.
However, you pay for my time. Not by word count. Each unit is 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I am disabled and I may have to take a break. I will read during the discussed time. Which means that I will read for you during your appointment and no longer. You may discuss furthering your appointment with me, but I too have a schedule. In writing, I will agree to a certain amount of time. I will ask for the full pay for the unit if you are disconnected or turn off the Chat at anytime. I will consider the circumstances at a later time and may reimburse you. In the event, I am disconnected or I am unable to complete a unit, I will expect payment after ten minutes of reading. Which is two thirds of the time. I will not expect payment unless I have completed at least ten minutes.
I will read at my own pace. I can read anything for you in English. I am not proficient in any other language. If you do not speak English and simply want to hear English being read that's fine too. If you need explanations of words, that's fine, but remember, it's your time. In fact, be mindful, it's your time.
I can use any web based messenger, ICQ, Android app or Linux compatible Video or Audio only.
I will attempt to keep a pleasant demeanor, please be courteous. If you are not courteous, if you insult me or say anything to cajole me, I will turn off the chat and ask for pay for the units I have already worked plus the unit in which you were discourteous. I will consider that unit complete.

Training & Qualifications
I was a student aide in High School and regularly read aloud to Children in Elementary School. I have read to the disabled and the elderly. I have no special certifications and am not offering child care.
