Jewelry Repair

25

25 per unit - - Posted Apr 06, 2017

As a goldsmith I have a skill set that enables me to carry out a wide variety of jewelry repairs.
If your rings do not fit I can size them up or down.
When the shank(bottom half of the ring) becomes thin I can replace it.
When your stones come loose or fall out I can tighten and reset them.
If your chain breaks I can solder them back together like new.
I can fix bracelets and attach charms.
I can't fix the bail on a pendant or solder two pieces together if one breaks in half.
Any questions you may have about this service, feel free to ask.

About Timothy Falls

Six years ago I started working as an apprentice jeweler in Houston Texas. Right from the start I was intoxicated. Gold and silversmithing became an instant passion. Learning different metals reaction... to heat and how to properly form them became my way of life. I worked in a shop with five jewelers, all with more that twenty years of experience. Each of these people opened up to me and I was able to gain knowledge and learn trade secrets from each of them. I won apprentice of the year for my region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas) in my first year. Before the end of my second year I was promoted to a jeweler. A huge accomplishment that takes most apprenticeship participants three to five years. Around this time I met my, now, wife. She lived an hour away from me so I relocated to a jewelry store closer to her. For the next year I worked on my own. Even though I love what I do and the rewards it has for my soul, I did not enjoy being on my own. Working with other jewelers allowed me to grow and I missed that. I found a store in our area that needed a skilled goldsmith and jumped at the opportunity. Everything in thier display was custom made in house. They had three tradesmen on staff, again all with twenty plus years of experience, I felt honored to be considered being so new. Again I absorbed everything any of them was willing to teach me. Another year passed and my, then, girlfriend asked me to move back to her hometown of Buffalo NY. After some research I agreed to the move. Now for the last two and a half years I have been in a trade shop, doing repairs for twenty different jewelry stores across New York state. I work in a shop with five jewelers, where I am again the young talent, surrounded by experienced professionals. I would like to bring my skills up for trade. If you have any family heirlooms or beat up jewelry that needs repair please message me. I take pride in my work and I treat every product like it is my own. Message me for details on Simbi prices and how we can meet.show more
