I am an artist, writer, draftsperson and mother of two kids. I have gained skill in a number of crafts over the years, including printmaking, bookbinding, cooking, knitting, netting, sewing, beading, ceramics, needlepoint, gardening, computer graphics, draughting....

I have drawn and painted as long as I can remember, and gained a fine arts diploma when engineering didn't work out - I completed 2 years of the 4 year degree. Since then I have worked in graphic design, presentation preparation, small-scale video production from concept to finished product, education media management, film and video postproduction as a film to video transfer colourist for a major house, draughting, and a few forays into service jobs such as reception/registrar, and as a Paint Nite presenter/artist.

My current position is delightfully varied, and includes landscape architectural draughting, graphics creation for presentations, award entries, renderings for landscapes, website management, database management and maintenance, and administrative duties.

Education, environmental issues and social justice are important to me. I worry about our planet and how we are going to look after it, while creating an equitable society. I believe universal education is the start of this process. I would like to see education at all levels from academic to basic life skills available to all.
