I will ascertain your organizational needs. I will determine the obstacles to you getting and staying organized. I will outline how you will become organized (i.e. decluttering, design, storage planning, efficiency systems, time management). I will guide you as you start implementing your new-found skill set yourself. Disorganization is a physical manifestation of a mental obstacle. You will overcome these obstacles with my help.
The number of sessions will vary based on the level of disorganization. In a virtual setting, I will need a photograph(s) of the problem area, and a detailed description of your organizational challenge. Session 1: I will make recommendations, based on the information provided, as to what you can do to remedy your challenge. We will agree upon a plan of action. If the disorganization is minimal, and the client feels comfortable implementing the action plan themselves, no further sessions are needed. Multiple sessions will allow for trouble shooting problem areas that arise while organizing. The goal is for you, the client, to maintain organization through learning. However, there are clients that choose, or require, ongoing follow-up sessions.
Training & Qualifications
My longest in-person barter is with an antique dealer. The dealer needed to organize his booth in order to maximize space for his goods and increase sales. In exchange, I chose a few items from his booth. First session was a consult. Sessions 2-4 were hands on organization of his booth. Goal met of maximizing booth space. Last session was a follow up to review his sales (goal met there was an increase), and suggestions on product placement.
In fact, the barter went so well that we continue the bartering relationship to this day. This is a three year barter relationship thus far. He has gone from 2 booths to 4 booths in that time, and I have filled my home with his treasures.
