I can offer you advice on parenting. My specialty is effective discipline without spanking. In fact spanking has been proven to be ineffective and can damage the relationship between child and parent. It can also show a child that physically hurting someone you love is an acceptable way to get them to do something you want or to behave in a certain fashion. Many parents are not aware that there are very effective solutions out there for them to choose from. All one needs is a bit of determination and patience. While spanking is easier, there are many benefits of alternative discipline that can bring you and your child closer together, why not give it a try! You really have nothing to lose. I know my parents thought I was crazy when I announced we would not spank our children nor were they allowed to do so. My friends who were already parents said it would not last and that my children would be heathens. The majority of them have since changed their tune, and while some continue to spank, they all admit that my children are very well behaved and polite. The best part is that I never have to feel guilt over hurting the very people I am suppose to protect the most.
Training & Qualifications
The parent of two headstrong and wonderful children. My daughter is 10 going on 30 and my son is 9. They are both very hyper, strong willed, and intelligent enough to occasionally fool their mother. I do not approve of spanking and needed other options and I am so glad I found them.
