I am 42 years old foreign attorney and a native Spanish speaker with professional credentials: Law Degrees from the Catholic University of Asuncion, Paraguay and the National University of Paraguay, Master’s degree in American Legal System for Foreign Attorneys from Temple University's James Beasley School of Law and a Masters in European Law Practice from Salamanca University in Spain. Over a decade's experience tutoring English speakers in Pennsylvania, and outstanding references in Second Language Acquisition, Interpretation, and Translation.
I have traveled and lived around the world. Germany, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil and The United States are some of the countries I have explored. I am a humanist and I am passionate about performing and creative arts, respect for cultural diversity, working for peace and development, respecting and protecting the environment, protecting human rights, upholding civil rights, social action, inclusion and diversity, my family and raising great kids, and animal rights. My partner is most passionate about his art and I love seeing him create beautiful paintings. I love to cook and bake delicious and healthy food from different regions of the world, and people love my cooking!
I am currently working in a non-profit organization as an Accredited Representative by the Board of Immigration Appeals, representing clients on immigration matters, and I am eligible to take the New York State bar examination in January 2017.
