45-Minute Violin Lesson

I would be willing to provide in person or Skype lessons to an aspiring, beginner level violinist. I have been playing the violin for about 8 years and currently study under Juilliard graduate performing musician, David Lisker. Lessons will cover the basics of how sound is produced through the instrument, proper bow hold, correct posture, as well as simple scales and exercise material to build finger dexterity after learning to read notes.
*Must be willing to acquire books/material prior to the lesson(s)
*Also MUST be dedicated to put in the time and patience. You will NOT see major results after one 45-minute lesson, but will receive basic instruction + material to help boost your violin studies.

Violin lesson was extremely helpful! Rey reccomended many finger shifts and positions to make playing the Seitz concerto much easier for me. She also ...demonstrated many skills to be applied to my current concerto and many others to come, like bow techniques, shifting exercises, ways to practice intonation, and more.
