I really want to go fishing in Gainesville sometime. Neither of my parents fish, but I did a little for rock bass and sunfish with my friends when I was a kid. I know how to get a fishing license. I'm okay with buying a cheap pole and other necessary equipment, and I can put worms on hooks, but I've always had trouble getting the hook out of the fish's mouth. I also don't know where to fish. I've seen people fishing at a creek off the Hawthorne Trail, but it seems a little remote and there are mostly men there.
