*This description is more or less technical than what you'll receive from me, dependent on your needs :)
If you consider yourself something of a social entrepreneur, activist or artist and your project will fill a critical need in our society then I want to see your approach implemented and refined in the field! We are the ones we've been waiting for, as they say :)
After a brief conversation and presentation from you about your project idea, I will provide you with:
(1) Project coaching beyond "sustainability" toward regenerative, "beyond-organic", and thriving
(2) Up to a seven year implementation schedule for system designs that evolve over time
(example: year 1 observation/business planning/prototyping, year 2 market trials, etc)
(3) Overview of useful legal structures and potential stakeholders to recruit
(4) Recommended decision-making framework for groups to act swiftly together
(5) Fundraising opportunities that leverage an ecosystem of micro-lending, crowd-sourcing, alternative currencies, and venture funding at appropriate project milestones
(6) Small library of context-specific technical documents for your project
Additional sessions will refine those details further or feature complementary systems design (theory, processing, and/or interdependent ecosystem)
Training & Qualifications
I study sustainable communities, eco-villages, intentional businesses, and community building projects around California (immersively) and the globe. I have been building and teaching workshops in community gardens, resource centers, schools, front yards, festivals, and conferences for 4 years, specializing in micro-businesses, cooperative legal structures, community-building, guerrilla entrepreneurialism, urban agriculture, agroecology, sociocratic governance, and permaculture. Permaculture is a systems-design framework based on bio-mimicry, natural patterns, and most importantly: indigenous and emergent technologies.
