Osteopathic manipulative treatments involve a wide variety of techniques applied to the musculoskeletal system. These techniques can be applied to the joints, their surrounding soft tissues and fluids, muscles, nerves, and membranes (fascia). OMT is not limited to any specific individual, strain, or disease process. Anyone can benefit from osteopathic manipulative treatment.
At the heart of osteopathy is the recognition of the body's ability to cure itself, with some help. Sometimes when the body/spirit becomes overwhelmed by injury or disease it may require help to restore balance so that its ability to heal can function more efficiently.
Examples of a few of the things that I have had great success treating with OMT:
Chronic sinus congestion or frequent sinus infections
Chronic pain (back, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles)
Rib dysfunctions and diaphragm restrictions causing shortness of breath
Pregnant patients with back pain, acid reflux, insomnia, and fetal breech
Training & Qualifications
I am an osteopathic physician and have taken over 500 hours of post-graduate training in osteopathic manipulation including visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and general musculoskeletal techniques.

Allen J Shepard wrote a recommendation for Noël Pense
I am sincerely happy to endorse Dr. Noel Pense regarding his services in Osteopathic Manipulation and Internal Medicine. Noel has provided services to me on multiple occasions including both musculoskeletal manipulation and general medicine consultation.
His depth and experience in both of these arenas manifests itself in the high quality of treatment he is regularly able to provide for me. He has helped me with: chronic airway inflammation/sinus issues, chronic and acute mid-back pain, asthma control, and acute illness/flu-like symptoms.
I am personally also a D.O., and have much experience with a wide variety of health practitioners. Noel's approach stands above the crowd in his ability to empathize and provide targeted, competent care. After each consultation, I always feel understood and in a physically better path of healing and self-repair.
About Noël Pense
I am an osteopathic physician and am very passionate about my field and the potential to help others. I am board certified in Internal Medicine, and I also have spent a lot of additional time training... in osteopathic courses for manual therapy which I think can be a tremendous adjunct to traditional medicine. I also had a fantastic time learning ballroom dancing in college. I spent a few years as a competitive ballroom dancer at the collegiate level.show moreOpen to other proposals
