Ecological wisdom is a journey that brings me closer to the natural pace of Earth and the only way for me to live a fulfilling and balanced life. More I let myself rewild and more I can feel the old and wise earth intelligence within me. I am learning to listen to this deep compassion and insight voice on a daily basis through meditations, my family life, my permaculture gardening and my community work. When my daily life is being guided by ecological wisdom, I feel the flow of energy in my spine and a deep connection with my surroundings... the living Gaia! When my daily life is rushed and I am feeling the burden of stress from life pressure, I feel a heavy load on my shoulders and I am more prone to mental fatigue and negative thoughts.
For a long time, I felt that practicing the permaculture ethics (care for the planet, care for the people and fair share) and the 12 principles was enough to help me stay focus on my goals to achieve a more sustainable life. But permaculture alone can be technical, dry and business-oriented (too much doing) if it is not surrounded by a shift in paradigm, a practice of compassion and reconnection with Earth (more being). I now see the need to develop my wild heart and wild earth connection to nourish my sacred space and really listen and feel the Earth within me.
I realize that my Earth gift is to nourish and enhance nature living systems (ecosystem, community system and all regenerative system.) So my objective on Simbi is to help individuals reconnecting with nature in various ways. (meditation, permaculture project, sustainable living, playscape, wild edible, etc.) to bring a revolution of consciousness.
“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.”
