Job Interview Preparation
30
If you give me the name/industry you are applying for and the job title, I will:
-Explain the STAR method if you are unfamiliar with said interview technique
-Prepare approximately 10 questions that are directly related to your company, industry, and job position
-Throw you some curveball questions (there is always a chance that one will be unprepared for an interview question, but the best defense against that is self-awareness)
-Provide feedback regarding your answers
-Give you some positive affirmations because after your practice interview, you will ~ace~ the real interview
Training & Qualifications
I worked at the University of Puget Sound's Career and Employment Services for two years. I will put in the time to research the company/job title you are interviewing for, as well as add in some curveball questions that help you gain comfort in talking about yourself/your passions. I assisted in interviewing peer tutor positions at my university's Center for Writing, Learning, and Teaching / have been interviewed more times than I can even count. I'm also just generally great at asking questions.
