I can teach you: how to play chords; strumming patterns; reading tabs; finger picking technique.
I have been playing for over a decade-- I began with classical, and moved on to my real passion of folk music. Most of what I play is improv-style. I have a basic familiarity with reading musical notation. I am very familiar with reading tabs.
I also have experience as a tutor-- I love teaching! I have a lot of patience and an ability to meet students where they are at. Whether you have never picked up a guitar in your life or you want to hone in on an element of your playing, I would really enjoy supporting you however I can. Teaching strumming technique and rhythmic patterns is one of my favorites. I also love teaching someone their very first chords! Guitar is pretty magical in the way that, once you've learned a couple key chords, you can play MANY songs!
I am a supportive teacher with patience for any beginner, looking forward to offering this service =D
Training & Qualifications
I have been playing guitar for over a decade with rudimentary classical training.
Music is my breath and life -- I am not able to teach advanced theory or advanced classical levels of playing.
Patience is one my biggest qualifications ;)
