I will give the opportunity to observe and touch many basic types of rocks and minerals.
Examples include:
"Agate" and Jasper
Fluorite
Psilomelane
Malachite
Borates
Etc.
I will provide a basic geological background of said rocks and minerals and then, if interest continues (as it should!)....
We can move to the saw and grinders and see how much even more interesting these rocks are on the inside!
Virtual geology lessons can be given, as well.
Training & Qualifications
I am an avid amateur Lapidary and rockhound and have studied geology of rocks and minerals in my own time and during 2 or 3 classes in conjunction. No official qualifications. It's just interesting stuff!
Availability & Preferences
I have no set schedule, so we can work something out.
