Most entrance exams include a section based in problem solving:
GRE: Quantitative Reasoning
GMAT: Quantitative (Data Sufficiency Problem Solving)
SAT: Math
ACT: Math
LSAT: Analytical Reasoning

If you have taken one of these tests or practice tests and are unsatisfied with your quantitative score, I'm here to help! Since each test has it's own tips and tricks, I will help you work through and understand the logic based problems in your test's prep book. In addition to working through appropriate questions, we can also talk about and practice how to answer questions more efficiently.
Often in tutoring math or helping with test prep I've found that people know how to find the answer, they just don't think that they do. Through working through problems together and studying concepts that seem tricky I will help you boost confidence so that you are calm and ready for test day!
Training & Qualifications
I love solving problems and helping people who struggle with or hate math. Math is my fav so I want to share the love :)
I ranked in the 90th+ percentile for quantitative sections of the GRE, SAT, and Washington standardized tests. Through college I helped several friends who were uncomfortable with math study for the GRE.
Availability & Preferences
My work schedule is flexible, so I can meet when you are available. I'd prefer to meet at the Seattle Public Library in Capitol Hill or a similar location.
