There are many multi-step tasks that we do by hand that could easily be solved by a computer to save a ton of time.

Example: Joey has a family picnic coming up and he volunteered to make the teams for the relay races. Joey wants to make equal teams based on his family members age, activity level, gender etc . Doing this by hand can take a lot of time, especially if someone backs out and decides not to come, then teams have to be reformed!

Example: Based on what is in the fridge, Mary wants to create a dinner schedule so that at each meal a proper amount of vegetables and proteins are eaten and none of her groceries go bad before she can eat them.

Based on your requirements I will create a custom computer program with you that allows you to easily add or remove new items (people, food, etc), new characteristics about these items (you now care a lot about getting proper amounts of vitamin C!), and distribute these items equally into required number of groups. Based on size of data this type of program often runs in less than one minute so you can easily come up with a new sorting or schedule if you have new information or don't like the results.
