One Hour of Genealogy Research
50
I will use my resources (including a membership at Ancestry) to help you answer genealogy questions about your family. I do not have total access to records outside the United States, but am able to find plenty of information about immigration in many cases. I will spend one hour researching your questions. **Please be as specific as possible about what you'd like to learn. The more information you give me, the more information I can find.** If you're able to give me names, dates of birth and places of residence it will help greatly in narrowing down results and getting the information you need! If you know what kinds of records you'd like specifically, please be sure to let me know (for example, census records, military records, dates of birth, death, place of burial, etc.) Please be aware that Ancestry limits information that's available on living ancestors for privacy reasons, so the farther you can go back in the information you give me, the better our results will be. I will spend one hour of dedicated time to searching for your results and compiling information, photos etc. into a file or files to send to you.
Training & Qualifications
I am an amateur genealogist that has been doing online and in-person genealogy for over 10 years. I've traced my own family line back to the Mayflower on one line (don't be too impressed - he was evidently the village troublemaker and drunk!). I am passionate about genealogy and love doing the research.
