No Frills Tarot Reading

20

20 per session - - Posted Aug 23, 2016

I can give a no-frills tarot reading that will take about 15 minutes using anywhere from three to five cards. My philosophy on tarot is less about divining the future, and more gaining perspective around a current event or issue the client is struggling with. I try less to give advice or read into the situation, and more to give my clients the ability to self-examine the context of what they're looking at.

Training & Qualifications

I have been reading tarot since I was thirteen and have read professionally for clients and friends alike for the past seven years.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

Great advice, specifics that show more in-depth knowledge and research than simply his own personal experience, and provided follow up references as w...ell.show more

About Michael Robinson

I'm a graduate student in Organizational Behavior/Psychology. My research interests center around the effects of social identity in the workplace, especially transgender and queer identities. Addition...ally, I'm interested in followership and understanding why people choose to follow and how/if they incorporate that into their self-concepts. In the past I've taught K-8 music, and participate in the summer volunteering group that teaches English to disadvantaged Israeli children. When it comes to my abilities and services that I can offer the Simbi community, I have some experience in Gestalt Personal Development coaching and am certified for Leadership Development coaching. I've been reading tarot since I was 14 and used to read professionally for private clients and groups as well as other related forms of divination. I take a very no-nonsense orientation to divination; the point isn't to predict the future but to take a step back and better understand my client's context. What I've found is that simply by examining their context through the lens of tarot clients come to new and novel understandings of their presenting problems in order to really discover the roots of their issues. I believe that the future isn't set in stone and that future-oriented tarot only shows one possibility; I'd rather see how to reach the possibility desired by my client. I've also been tie-dyeing for years and would love to help teach others how to do fun and novel things like adding messages, symmetrical image, and more. While I don't offer it here yet, feel free to hit me up if you want advice or to have me help at a party or similar. When it comes to social services I'm looking for, I am always interested in learning new creative skills. Likewise, I speak very conversational (aka like a five-year-old's level) Hebrew and would love the chance to practice and get better. I've always been super curious about getting a manicure or facial, and I'd love to discuss possibly getting tailoring (and would of course pay for materials).show more
