I will give an in depth nature study of edible plants in any given area. I can point out numerous edible and medicinal plants in most environments (all grass back yards are generally not suitable for this. I have a love of plants that goes back to my childhood and I have spent countless hours expanding my knowledge in this area. All plants that I share are commonly found in our area and I will share any known poisonous lookalikes.
Plant availability will vary by season and location. For best variety, a wild space such as a nature reserve or conservation area is the best option. Unusual weather conditions (heat, cold, drought, etc.) will also affect plant availability. That being said, I can often identify 10 or more edible and/or medicinal plants in a typical surburban back yard if it has not been heavily sprayed with weed killer.
Training & Qualifications
I am self-taught, but have spent many hours learning about herbology, botany, plant identification, etc. All information provided is strictly for entertainment purposes and not to be taken as medical advice.
Availability & Preferences
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are generally open, Thursdays in the morning only.
