A multi-faceted individual, complex but ultimately simple; I *love* to help other people, it brings me a lot of satisfaction and helps me to encourage others to build a 'pay it forward' culture.

I am one part of a Canadian road-schooling family consisting of my wife Beth, our daughter Caitlin and our two dogs, a GSP and a Coonhound. Our pursuit of happiness is constant and well-structured but can be unpredictable with ideas germinating and growing all the time. Our current adventure has us travelling full-time through North America where we have been on the road for the last year with another year ahead of us and some amazing and fulfilling adventures both behind and ahead.

For income, I work in corporate America as a leader, mentor, coach, continuous improvement specialist and voice of reason. I'm also, as an elderly friend of mine observed when I briefly explained what I do to earn money, "an axe-man", an expert in the unpleasant business of profit improvement through cost reduction. It is what I am and I'm good at it but amongst it all, I am a humanist with a deep belief that other humans deserve some respect and to be afforded dignity.

The legacy I choose to pursue is to share the knowledge I have to afford others the opportunity to pursue their own happiness with the necessary clarity and with the tools they need to support it and develop it for themselves.
