Some of the hats I wear include: musician, dancer, teacher, student, spiritual facilitator, social-transformer, researcher, therapist, and mother. Mothering has transformed my consciousness, and I seek to promote a Mother-Earth-centered, matri-focal gift paradigm and consciousness for the world, rather than the patriarchal-capitalist paradigm, especially in the ways we socialize, educate, and raise our children. This is the focus of both my soul and my work in academia. I also teach ukulele, piano, and facilitate expressive arts therapy workshops. As a performer, I embody Aloha Spirit through hula dancing and I also perform hula music, jazz, and pop as a vocalist and ukulele player. I seek and see Spirit in all dimensions of life and I continue to refine my abilities to interpret and understand these subtle energies.
