I’ve had massages from over a dozen therapists, and I always thought that deep tissue massages were meant to be as hard as possible. It meant my mass...ages were never enjoyable, as I asked for harder thinking it would help. Maria explained that you want a massage to be just firm enough that your muscles don’t tense too much, otherwise the massage is working against you. I left feeling better than any massage I’ve ever had, and it was actually enjoyable. I was a little sore for a day instead of very sore for a few days, and the result is that the knot in my back feels so much better! I will definitely go back to Maria again!show more
