Car ride for groceries!

10

10 per session - - Posted Apr 16, 2017

Shopping in Chapel Hill can be so hard if you're a student! The stores are SO far away if you're on campus and all of the prices are super jacked up in convenience stores that are close by. Sure, there are buses, but they're slow, crowded, and really limit how much you can buy/carry.

I love grocery shopping and meeting new people. I also have a car and know the area. There are Harris Teeters and Food Lions close to campus and Trader Joes and Whole Foods just a bit farther. I'll even drive you out to Walmart or Target if you really need a big shopping trip!

You'll get a chance to get your grocery shopping in and have a bit of a friendly chat while you're at it. Or I can wait in the car, if you prefer to shop alone -- I won't be offended!
I'll even help you carry your groceries in, if there's parking nearby.

Training & Qualifications

I have a drivers license, a car, and car insurance.
I was also a UNC student and have a One Card, so I'm a pretty safe person.

Availability & Preferences

Evenings or very early in the mornings. No weekends, sorry!

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

College grad with more time than money. Looking to exchange time and skills for the same. And maybe some plants. I really would like more little plants.

About Liz R

Young professional in the Chapel Hill area. I have a couple interests that I'd like to share with the community. I've been working as a freelancer in my spare time for the past year and I think Simbi ...is an intriguing platform to work on. I'm a pretty loud person -- my voice, my laugh, my sneezes in all this pollen. I studied psychology and Spanish at UNC and work in research. I spend a lot of my time reading, cooking, writing, and gaming. I'm a very open person and will talk about almost any subject. Combined with my loudness, this is how I make friends -- speaking loudly in public until someone new chimes in and suddenly friendship sparks. A handful of my quirks: - I love grocery shopping -- I can spend hours in a grocery store while brainstorming ideas for dinner parties. - I have more scrapfabric than I know what to do with... but still refuse to give it up because I have ideas! - I'm pretty good at pingpong :P - I like playing board games but don't currently own any -- I'm sort of a board game mooch. - My hair is over 2 ft long. I have been cooking and baking for as long as I can remember and I love providing for people and taking care of them. I started in freelancing as a writer and moved into voice work. My specialties are mediation tracks (body scans, empowerment, relaxation) and short adult (ahem) stories for both writing and recording. Just looking to share my abilities with the community! I'm looking for unique pieces of art for my blank walls. I also would like some little potted plants. I have one, a holiday cactus which I've kept alive for over a year now, and I'd like to try new plants. Maybe food-bearing or flowering types. show more
