We offer Community Seed Libraries from two locations in Northwest Tasmania.
We welcome donations of all seed varieties in clean recently harvested condition.
Community Seed libraries are free to our community to encourage food growing and food security , seed saving. community resilience and retention of locally acclimatised heritage varieties.
Members return seed to the library once harvested or leave a monetary donation.

Wow. I cannot express how grateful I am to Live Well Tasmania. I am particularly inspired because this group is utilizing Simbi to share and transact ...real needed goods in community like seeds, soaps, hand-made household items. I wish that US Simbi communities were more habituated to doing this and there was more of a culture around offering seeds, herbs, dried food goods, etc with one another and garden services in our community.show more
