I am doing post - graduate studies at Pitt in neuroscience, genetics, Italian, women's literature, poetry (2 poems published on-line), law, music..I teach chess, draw portraits, do volunteer activitie...s in a few different areas; play and compose for piano, keyboard and orchestra including composing 90+ love songs,40+ string quartets,music therapy songs,5+ waltzes,16+ ballads 21 symphonies with piano accompaniment,several piano sonatas, trumpet sonata,3 brass concertos,5 arpeggio songs,2 woodwind concertos and more, in a variety of key signatures, i.e., Am, C, C#; F, F#,Gb & Eb m (pentatonic scale) and others (totaling 419+ music compositions,as of 6/22/16, one of which I am auditioning for at least 2 major venues later in 2015, similar in style to Alexander Scriabin and French impressionists...;& submitted theme music for one sports team ...) & currently working on composing an operatic version of my 92 minute love sonata & first symphony and later, possibly a ballet, as well as, a cello and choral symphony with piano accompaniment (which is now completed for its 5 movements...,as of 10/29/13;taking 2+ months to complete). It is my longest and most complicated music composition;and is the second longest in world history after Sorabji's "Jami"​ of 4 hr. 36:37 min.!),and 4+ string ensembles...;like to read and write poetry(2 poems are published), like to study a variety of foreign languages (i.e.,French, German,Italian,Spanish,Greek,Hindi,Mandarin...). I have 5 academic degrees:(1) biology & psychology (chem. minor) (2) accounting(3) business and public admin.(4) Computer science (programming) &(5) labor relations. I am a former Marine Corps officer, accountant and environmental health specialist...My music is mentioned in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,3/26/13, page C4, "Century"​ section where I orchestrated this woman's 100th birthday party with 3 other musicians at a local senior center; as well as, the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination,January 2014 newsletter.show more
