I'm a 24-year-old college graduate who is struggling a little in this economy to find a job that I love *and* that pays the bills. My degree is in social work, and my passion is educational inequity.
Currently, I have two jobs, working full time for DSHS as an eligibility interviewer and at the YMCA as a childcare provider. I like my jobs, but I love being able to give back outside of the confines of employment. This includes everything from volunteering to civic engagement to donating goods and money to local charities. I find my life is more enriched when I give back.
In my free time, I dress up in medieval garb and do historical reenactment with the Society for Creative Anachronism. (Because of that hobby, I'm working on getting better at sewing/knitting/crocheting, so a lot of the services I'm looking for revolve around that.) When I'm not doing that, I'm probably having board game nights with my friends.
