Hello All,
Looking for fine art donations and general donations to support the Youth Suicide Prevention Group, Voz y Corazon (Voice & Heart). This group recently celebrated it's 13th year running in Denver, CO. It was originally designed to address the most marginalized group of teenagers facing problems, which was Latina teens, and now has branched out to serving all youth of Denver and surrounding areas by holding 31 groups, which are all run by a mentor and art teacher. In these groups, the youth create art as an outlet and a way to cope with many issues that they face being a youth, including suicdial ideations.
As you may already know, art supplies are very expensive and running a group that allows youth to create their own art to allow them to express their feelings is highly beneficial to growing minds. This group holds a fundraiser every June where artwork and other donations are placed in a silent auction, however, anyone can donate at ANY time of the year. All proceeds go towards Voz y Corazon's programs.
All donations are tax deductible and we will accept anything local, national, or international with your acknowledgement that you are responsible for any shipping fees. Digital Art IS accepted, as well as digital services, and cash donations.
