About Kitty Halbert

I am the author of "A Yankee In Overalls", "Confessions of An Honorary Redneck", and "The Encounter and Other Poems (available on Amazon). I officiate weddings for the public and in the prison system.... I'm an amateur rapper. I have a wonderful boyfriend that I love very deeply. I have a passion for voiceover work. I love to help people get their poetry out of the dusty spiral notebooks hidden in the upper shelf in the closet, and get it on YouTube where other people can enjoy it! It will help you leave a digital footprint for future generations! I'm very conscious of the passage of time and of its finite nature. I try to look at my time the same way I would look at money. What is the most productive way to use it? Since my time is something that I cannot recycle and use over again, I tend to use it for creative purposes (like Simbi), spiritual studies, cooking/eating (total food addict here) and being a blessing to others. I love using social media to see what outreach projects are being put together in my area. Sometimes, I can participate in them. For example, there is an outreach going on at the time of this writing. People are collecting non-perishable snacks for the patients at a local children's hospital. They gave details about what kinds of snacks they were looking for. That's an opportunity for me to bless other people in a practical way! I'm always looking for outreaches like this!
