About Katy Chmiel

Hi, my name is Katy! I am a 23 year old mom of soon-to-be two wonderful kiddos! My husband and I have been married for five years (you read that right, we got married young) and have a one year old an...d another one due this summer. Needless to say, we are going to have our hands quite full! I am a part-time ACT/SAT prep tutor and an algebra tutor. I love to read fantasy, fiction, and romance novels and plan to read 52 books in 2017. I also hike in local state parks with my dog as often as I can. Like many others, I also binge-watch a variety of Netflix shows with minimal discrimination. I am a moderately-skilled quilter and have been quilting for the past five years, but have been sewing projects for most of my life. I am also a beginner seamstress and have made my first couple articles of clothing, but still have a lot to learn. Additionally, I am a novice at crochet. I am also slowly learning ASL. I love to travel but haven't done very much in my life. My goal is to visit Iceland, Ireland, Italy, England, France, Spain, Australia, Costa Rica, and Hawaii. I'm sure the list is significantly longer than that, but those are my must-sees. I have one dog who believes she is anything BUT a dog and who also loves to escape our big backyard. She is afraid of my husband's uncle, the color purple, cats, and babies. One day I will figure out the reason for all of these. She is a rescue mutt and the sweetest pup you've ever met.show more
