I will read whatever you are currently writing and offer you careful feedback. I'm envisioning this mostly for fiction writing - your short stories, your fan fictions, even your latest novel - but I'm open to any kind of writing. I tend to read mostly fantasy, sci-fi, and magical realism, so I would probably be the most help to you if you're writing in those genres. I'm up for reading anything, though!
When you send me your story, I will read it carefully and take notes. Depending on your needs, I can give you my general feelings about the story as a whole, or detailed, line-by-line comments. I can focus on things like the development of your characters, the pacing of the story, and the writing style throughout. If you find my comments helpful, I'd be willing to read through several drafts of the story.
Training & Qualifications
An avid reader and writer! I have been reading for ages, and I have writing experience (short stories, novels, and blogs) as well. I definitely understand how helpful a fresh pair of eyes can be in working out the kinks in a story.
Availability & Preferences
Evenings work best for me, but I also am free on some weekday mornings.
