About Jorge Palacios

I am a college student with dreams and aspirations. I am about completed with my BA in Anthropology and a minor in history soon to follow is completion of pre-med. Life is difficult for now as life as... a full-time university student and an adult require so much commitment. Although difficult I recognize the most difficult things often time the most rewarding, nothing in life that is ever worth something comes easy. I take a little of the old ying and yang philosophy that there must be a balance with peace come chaos and with chaos comes peace. In life there are difficult times and also simpler times and that is just how life is. I have taken a dark and chaotic past and through my own strength and will forged something greater, and as time continues the foraging towards a better present and future never stops. In other words, I come from a difficult past and seek to have a better tomorrow so I have and continue to improve myself to something greater, this journey never ends. I don't want to say I see a problem but rather I see a position that I would like to change so I often take it upon myself to change it. You want change, be the change you are looking for. Hobbies and activities: - Music (music speaks to the soul, it helps us through trouble time, it helps us express joy, and makes us recognize we are not alone.) - Concerts and preforming arts. - Creating art and artsy things. - Practice of the Martial arts. - Debate to exercise the mind. - Films - Self-improvement - Enjoying life I can be a dichotomy, but I will I am fluid like time where the possibilities are endless.show more
